About three and a half years ago, Ryan was on TV. I started thinking about his experience with Oprah, and I realized I’ve been on TV just twice to the best of my knowledge.
The most recent time was about the middle of last year, when I went to a White Sox game with Pinger Greg and his friend Marta. We got great seats, right in front of the dugout. And just about anytime a right-handed batter was up, we were on TV. It was a lot of fun, because I could say, “Hey, that’s my fuzzy head!”
But my most popular appearance was, easily, when I was on The Bozo Show. I think I was about 8 or so (not 6 as I recounted in Ryan’s TV Ping,) and was in the front row. A magician pulled a coin out from behind my ear, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I was also sporting an ugly shirt which I won’t detail unless you force me.
