I was browsing through recent photos on flickr, and I noticed someone uploaded a photo of Yanni. Yes, Yanni. And that’s fine – some people like Yanni, a lot. In my own world of music, Yanni is probably the least cool person to listen to. He may be talented (and probably is very talented,) but the whole aura about him is really just… kind of… lame.
I’m sure some of it is brought on by pretend music snobs like me, who like to poke fun at him. But I’ll give him a break and ask Pingers, instead, who they think are uncool to listen to. Let’s hear it.
And Yanni, I’ll try not to confuse you with Zamfir anymore.
