I’d seen a number of Talking House homes for sale before and always figured there was some sort of goofy “Press here to hear information about this house!” devices set up out front. But yesterday I realized that these houses are actually transmitting over the AM band, so when you drive by you can get an information loop just like those “tune to 1610 AM for traffic” signs on I-95. Neat.
This same house I saw yesterday also had its own domain name. I don’t know why more agents don’t do this… it’s only $10 to do so and seems like it would be pretty helpful (and memorable for potential buyers).

Subdomains, maybe. Second level domains, though? The entire namespace would be used up. “What? Some loser in Texas has 614MainStreet.com? But I need to sell *my* house!”
It always irritates me when movies come out with domains like hulkthemovie.com. Why can’t they take hulk.movie.com? Or hulk.universal.com (or whoever released it)?

There’s a house in our neighborhood that has one of those. I was in the old car which doesn’t have a radio, (or a lot of other accessories) so I couldn’t listen to what it said.
