You know, I find it vagulely disturbing that you can have “ethnic surgery” in order to de-emphasize some of your natural cultural traits. Such surgeries include things like “eyelid surgery,” which just creeps me out.
If nothing else, it’s a sign that we have a long way to go before everyone feels comfortable in their own skin, whatever color that skin may be.
