The Daily Ping

We've only had four major designs over our 11 year history.

Twitter Spammers

A minor thing, really: I’m tired of occasionally logging into Twitter and finding I’ve got oodles of new follower requests from spammers. Spammers on Twitter are odd ducks; they’ll post an update with an URL in it and while some are very convincing – that is, you think it’s a real update – others are more of the old school variety.

The good thing? At least I need to approve the requests – and I can deny these jokers before I see their updates.

The bad thing? It’s another list I need to maintain. Although I don’t have an explicit whitelist for email, there’s that, too… I’m wondering at what point it’ll become more trouble than it’s worth.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
