Who needs privacy? It’s 2012!

Sure, we’ve all seen the street toilet in London that lets you see outside in 360 degrees while you do the do but no one can see in, but what about The Standard hotel in Manhattan that lets everyone on the street watch you through the window, probably without your even realizing it.

As a very private bathroom user, all I have to say is: “F—-, DO NOT STAY AT THE STANDARD.”

Heh… actually, I meant that as “F minus minus minus,” not as a censored profanity.

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
