One of my favorite food combinations is salty and sweet. This explains why I really, really like Trader Joe’s chocolate-covered peanut butter filled pretzels as a treat and it also explains why Pretzel M&Ms are similarly tasty to me.
The odd thing is that these aren’t exactly pretzel-flavored. At least, not to me. Inside the standard candy shell, the filling tastes a little more like a thin malted milk ball with a touch of salt. This isn’t a bad thing though… just not quite pretzel. It’s pretzel-ish.
Now, if there were a peanut-butter filled pretzel inside, that would be even better. Hop to it, Mars!
