
Notice in the background: an Ace Computer, one of the first Apple II compatibles. It was on that computer that I played Transylvania and wrote some of my best BASIC programs (like the infamous “Mating Game,” which randomly paired up males and females from our fifth grade class).
One more thing to take special note of: Bobby, the furthest person to the right side of the photo, is wearing a black shirt that says “Beer Power” with pictures of beer bottles. It was his favorite shirt. For some reason, I don’t think that shirt would fly in a fifth grade class today. -ram
