before i went vegan i used to be a huge fan of Milka chocolate. i dont know if its sold stateside but when i was in austria i ate at least one a day. (explains weight problem...)

My step-mother brought some chocolate back from Belgium. The stuff was incredible. Nothing, and I do mean nothing at all, that I have ever had from the States even compares to it. Barely solid at room temperature, this stuff slowly liquifies in you hand or mouth. Ghirardelli and See's don't come close to producing anything as fine as that chocolate. I wish I could remember the name of the place that made it -- more so, I wish I could order it online.

Wilbur Chocolate from PA is outstanding, and is reportedly the base chocolate used by Godiva, yet cheaper and better! Lindt from Switzerland it incredibly rich, and Ritter Sport from Germany packs a punch, if you can get it fresh. It seems that when you do find it here, it has been sitting on a vendor's shelf for 6 months. Find someone traveling to Europe and request at least 4 bars of Ritter. They break apart into tiny, guilt-free, easy to eat squares. Yum.
