We’ve been having a relatively warm and balmy autumn here in Chicago, but winter is a’comin’. While I’m not a fan of a lot of snow – watching the snowplows run down the street is always sickening – I do enjoy a light snowfall. And, almost always, the first snowfall.
Have you gotten any snow where you live yet? Our local weatherfolk are starting to rub their hands in joy, because our first chance for snowfall is tenatively scheduled for the middle of next week. It’ll probably be The Snow That Turns To Rain Instantly, but it’s a start. -pm
