Tasty Tunes

Cat mentioned this link on MeFi yesterday, and I just can’t pass it up… it’s too Pingworthy…

The First Vienna Vegetable Orchestra plays instruments that are made entirely of vegetables (and occasionally, kitchen utensils). After the instruments are used in a performance, they are then turned into soup for the audience.

The group plays classical music and their sound is… quite interesting. Go ahead and grab a few MP3s before deciding if you want to purchase their upcoming album.

Insert inevitable “play with your food” joke here…

Didn't their mother's teach them not to play with their food?

Your welcome.

I bet Moby approves :-)

I've listened to two of the song samples--really neat!! Good find, Cat!

This exposure on the Ping has overloaded their equipment and I can't download the samples.

I was just curious if ANYONE out there knows where I can purchase a CD by the Vienna Vegetable Orchestra online and have it mailed soon...thank you, everyone.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
