Beer CDs give you goggle ears

[Paul’s in the middle of nowhere… so here’s a late Ping for you to chew on…]

What happens when you spill beer on a CD and leave it over night? It becomes an “optical biocomputer” (c’mon now) and affects the music on the disc, warbling it and transforming it.

Listening to the sound sample of “Paul Revere” on the above site, though, it just sounds like it made the CD skip.

*shrug*

From the look and sound of that page, it looks like someone was up too late partying, and realized that they had a project coming up, so they looked around the frat house for an idea and..BINGO! It was either that, or how potato chips become stale after lying around the bedroom for 3 months.

I'll say! I think you are right Dave. I think someone stayed up too late last night instead of doing their homework.

This was just talked about on a Chicago radio station this week, except it was using yogurt. Spread it on you CD and leave it to dry, then play it.

Sounds like someone had too much time on their hands to me......

Don't leave open containers of liquid around delicate electronic devices and you won't spill drink and riun them.

What is this then?
