For Those of Y’all Who Wear Pajama Pants in Public

Stop it.

Listen. I understand that being comfortable while wearing clothing is important – in fact, it’s really important. But that doesn’t mean everyone wants to see you wearing pajama pants all the time. It’s not even that everyone else is envious of your comfort level; it’s that they look stupid.

Stop it. Pajama pants are for the home and, ideally, the bed. That’s it. Don’t you think that if they were meant to be worn outside of the home, they’d come in different lengths? But they don’t, do they? No. So stop it.

Again, if you’re thinking about wearing pajama pants in public because they’re comfortable, look “cute” (oh gee, little cows jumping over moons!), or because you want everyone to know that you just don’t care about your pants… stop it.

The only place I consider it acceptible outside of the home is on college campuses, where anything goes, no matter how sloppy looking.

I don't mind the pajama bottoms, since most people I've seen who wear them at least locate the waist band in the right place. After the fad where people wore pants and shorts sinched around the thighs so that I got to view their soiled underweared butt, I guess I'm less picky of what they wear. If the waist band is in the middle, wear whatever you want! If you look like a douche bag, that's your problem.

I can understand wearing them in college, but wearing them in public is just stupid. I had a friend of mine who wore her's around the house but when we went out she changed into pants or shorts.

i think it depends on the place. like you guys said, college is ok. and places like the grocery store or other common places where people run errands i think are ok. but people shouldnt wear them around tons of other people. its a little bit odd.

I've never seen anyone do this outside of college - and at that - it was only to go to the dining hall - never to class.

i think that NO ONE should wear pajama pants in public. especially to high school. its tacky. and not the ‘cool’ tacky. it just makes you look like a tool.

PEACE.

I think that it does look a little weird to see someone wearing them randomly. But your allowed to wear them every know and then no matter wht others say. Eg.-allowed to wear them for exams!

What is this then?
