Elementary School

Earlier this week I heard from one of my best friends from elementary school. We hadn’t talked in close to 15 years. He’s living in Northern Virginia, so he’s not even far away from me now. That’s kind of cool.

Then yesterday my mom forwarded me an e-mail from a teacher at my elementary school that is working with her IMPACT (advanced) class on a school alumni project where they want to interview alumni about the school and their experiences. So I got in touch with that teacher.

Then I was inspired to browse around the school’s site a bit and saw that my fifth grade teacher (the one seen on this Ping) is stil teaching there, so I dropped him an e-mail to check in. I sent along a copy of the picture for fun.

I thought about it a bit, and I really liked elementary school. It was before life got complicated. Though the girls were still pretty harsh to me, even back then. But I almost broke the school’s 50-yard-dash record! Really, almost!

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
