Bad Aftertaste

When I woke up this morning I noticed a horrible taste in my mouth. It wasn’t the usual morning breath; this was something altogether worse, something more menacing, something that would convince garlic-eaters that hey, maybe they don’t have it so bad.

I started to wonder what caused this horror of horrors. I wondered for a minute if I had somehow had some Beverly before bed, but no. I then remembered: I woke up in the middle of the night not feeling so well and took some Pepto-Bismol????.

So Pepto???? gave me horrible, horrible aftertaste. It was pretty unbearable. Is there anything worse?

Thankfully, the morning breakfast and cup of coffee will take care of that – my breath will be just awesome from that.

I am finishing up 5 days worth of Ketek, an antibiotic that gives me a metal aftertaste. I woke up in the middle of the night last night and had to rinse my mouth out, I couldn't take it any longer! It works great though. My doctor was surprised that my insurance covered it. He called it the "Cadillac of antibiotics." Which would use less gas than an SUV?

"Cadillac of antibiotics"

I can see the ad. "Ketek," the Cadillac of antibiotics that aftertastes like a Cadillac.

What is this then?
