Eat!

I’ve read about some strange video games in the past, but I think this one ranks right up there with the worse of them. The game: 1983’s Mangia for the Atari 2600. The goal? Eat the pasta that your mother gives you (or feed it to the pets). No, really. That’s what you do.

“The player gets to control a young boy, who must eat plates of pasta placed in front of him by his mother, who will keep feeding him until his stomach explodes on-screen.”

Now we know how Mario really got his start in video games.
