OK, there are less than 75 shark attacks each year worldwide. And this year, there we are significantly behind last year’s pace. So why is the media beating this issue to death? For cripes sakes, do we really need an ABC News story on how to avoid a shark attack?
Yes, it’s tragic that people (kids, in particular) have been attacked, and in some cases, killed, but my God, the media frenzy makes it sound like everyone on the beach is in grave danger.
Let’s chill out with the sensational reporting and get back to some real news. Like Jon Benet and O.J.. -ram
