So how is the Ping community spending Thanksgiving?
This year, Huyen and I are hosting our first Thanksgiving. Her mother, brother, and sister are in town now and my parents, grandmother, and sister’s family will be coming in today. We’ll have one or two more people coming tomorrow, too. It’s going to be a packed house of 12 or 13 people, which makes preparing a bit stressful, but it’ll still be nice to have everybody together.
We’ll be having pretty much the traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey (Tofurky for me, of course), cranberry sauce, dressing, sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, and several other dishes. Oddly, I’ll hardly be in the kitchen at all tomorrow.
Company, food, football, and food. That’s what it’s all about. Oh, and food, too. -ram
