Oreos, Part 10: Double Delight

Though I agree with Paul that the Oreo selection is getting a tad out of hand, that won’t stop me from trying a new flavor when it comes out. This week, I grabbed a bag of Double Delight Peanut Butter & Fudge for $2 from Target. Though it doesn’t come near matching the joy of eating a Double Stuf, it surprised me, as did the Chocolate Creme a few months back. The fudge and peanut butter each get their own half of the cookie, and the amount of filling is somewhere between a regular Oreo and a Double Stuf. The taste, as long as you start with a bite that includes part of each half, is rich and creamy, a trait that Oreo imitators still haven’t managed to match. I liked them, but this will only be a rare purchase from here on out.

Looking at their list of varieties my big question is: where can I score me a bag of those Fudge Mint Covered Oreos?!

I know there were orange cream oreos at one time, not just in color but also in flavor. I can’t find those anymore. The last time I bought a bag with orange cream they just tasted the same as the regular ones, It was most disappointing! I was duped!

What is this then?
