Stickers

It was the early 80s, long before things like AOL Instant Messenger were invading America’s livingrooms. And chances are good that either you, or someone you knew, collected stickers.

I did, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. I had a few binders full of stickers – some scratch-and-sniff, most just strategically arranged to look good. Some as part of a collection, and some just because they were fun.

The best part of it, though, is that there was an entire magazine devoted to stickers – the aptly-titled Stickers Magazine. I remember having the debut issue, which I believe came out in 1982 or 1983. I remember when it morphed into Stickers ‘n’ Stuff, and from what I see here, it later de-evolved into, simply, Stuff. Oh, wait, no. That’s another mag. I meant, it de-evolved into Barbie! – exclamation point and all.

Stickers, anyone?

I have some of those old issues os stickers and stuff magazines from the 80’s. YOu can have them for only the price of the postage it takes to get to you. I just want somebody who wants them to have them

Lulu,

I would love the magazines, if you would tell me how to send postage to you. Thanks.

Hey. I would love to get one of those mags! I am an Aussie and wanted to go to the States just to buy cool stickers when I read the mag!

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
