Cut Off Your Arm

By far, the most amazing thing I’ve heard in days is the story of a man who cut off his own arm to survive.

I hope to never, ever be in such a situation. Ever.

I read that story in the paper this morning. Hacked of his arm at the elbow with his pocketknife, rapelled 75 down a cliff, and then walked 5 miles before he found help.

That's one tough dude.

Sounds like the theme of a made-for-tv movie.

I truly know very little about it, but my first question is: cell phone? Don't leave home without it.

No way could I possibly do it. I'd be dead. Pure and simple.

And for those who think it can't be made into a movie, just watch the early 90's movie, Alive . You'll turn vegan in no time flat after viewing.

There was an episode of Tales from the Crypt where some guy had to cut off his own hand to escape the desert.

Even if he had a cell phone, It's doubtful that it would have worked in a narrow canyon

What is this then?
