You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out!

The Iconfactory has been well-known within Mac circles for creating really darned good icons for your computer. Almost all of the packages available are gorgeous icons – ones that were created with care.

That’s why I was blown away by a collection of icons based on A Christmas Story! Amazing. Now I can have the Little Orphan Annie Decoder Ring as my hard drive icon. For geeks, this is as good as it gets. Well, for geeks that like that movie anyway.

Speaking of which, it’s on TNT Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. A lot. A whole lot. It’s the new It’s a Wonderful Life.

Even if he wasn't writing about Icon Factory, he's praising "A Christmas Story", which is quickly turning into a new holiday tradition..watching that movie a ton on Christmas Eve.

I cant think of a more touching story at Christmas as that of a kid beating the crap out of the town bully whose dad owns a lamp of a stocking-covered leg. ;)

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
