The Most Annoying

I imagine that we all have an actor or actress that a simple glance will turn our stomachs. One that will automatically nullify the “goodness” of any movie they appear in. Not necessarily because they’re hideous, but just because they’re so… annoying, down to their very core.

For me, there are two people that do that. On the male side, it’s Owen Wilson (and his brother Luke will also send my stomach wretching due just to the relation). On the female side, it’s Julia Stiles.

What actors annoy you in the most visceral way, no explanation needed?

Whoopi, Julia Roberts, any of the Baldwin brothers.

I like Julia Stiles. I thought Save the Last Dance was a decent movie.

I don't know if he's actually written a piece on it, but amongst my circle of friends, we call this "kurruking" after this guy:

http://www.izzlepfaff.com

We all have someone whom we'd rather chew our arms off than see, and usually for no good reason. Skot's just the best at saying so.

My list is shamefully long. Jack Black, Gwyneth Paltrow, just about anyone who used to be on a sketch comedy show (except Monty Python or Kids in the Hall).

What I also find curious are those people we *should* hate, but don't. For example, I have a soft spot for Sandra Bullock. What the hell?

For me, that'd be Reese Witherspoon.

Chris -- I can no longer speak to you. Sorry.

Wow Chris, I had so much respect for you...;p

Male: Chris Klein (How can you screw up Rollerball??

Female: Fran Drescher. I cringe in fear at Old Navy ads and reruns of "The Nanny".

Ryan:
Your evaluation of Stiles is absolutely correct.

Regarding O.W. - You suck, Ryan.

Oy! Again w/ the Owen Wilson. I'm pretty indifferent on the guy but...I still stand by "The Royal Tenenbaums" ;) How brilliant were Bill Murray and Gene Hackman in that movie? Anyone who can come up w/ something that brilliant can't be all bad in my book. ;)

Hmm...I tried to answer your question but I honestly couldn't think of anyone. I'll go for the collective teeny-bopper movies and/or the every black movie w/ the words "yo mama!" or "chickenhead' in the title. Yall know what I'm talkin' bout...

Meg Tilly I can't stand her voice

Kira mentioned Orlando Bloom... I had a conversation with some Pingers this weekend about how I get Orlando Bloom and Orlando Jones mixed up. Because they look so much alike and all.

Kira, do you mean Jennifer Garner? I want to BE her. I don't like her voice either, but she really motivates me to run around the block and lift weights.
