A few months ago I first heard about a new Oreo, the Triple Double, with three wafers and two layers of filling. Now via perennial favorite blog The Impulsive Buy comes word that not only does the cookie exist but impressively (?) there’s a neapolitan flavor!
From the unfortunately-named Fat Guy Food Blog:
The only downside to these is that they are a giant cookie and are quite rich. This is a downside because you cannot eat as many. They make you sugar sick a lot faster than their classic counterparts would. This is a small price to pay for such an awesome, extreme, next generation cookie.
The wafers are the “golden” Oreos, which are pretenders to the crown as far as I’m concerned. Thankfully Nabisco has stepped in and created one with the traditional chocolate wafers, vanilla filling, and chocolate filling too. Whew.
I applaud Nabisco for their creativity.
