I fully intended on getting rid of DSL after the one month free trial. Everyone told me, “You won’t be able to go back to dial-up.” They were right. I did manage to at least strike up a deal, though, that made it not all that much more expensive than dial-up, especially considering the numerous benefits I’ve gotten.
It’s been quite a while since cable modems and DSL were introduced to the masses, but they seem to be catching on slowly. Are you a high-speed convert? Or have you hung on to the more economical dial-up?
