So You Wanna… make something of it?

I was surprised at how well-written the articles at are. They offer thoughtful tips on practical topics (“So you wanna learn how to barbecue?”) to the absurd (“So you wanna lie persuasively?”). I think that if this site keeps up its quality and just picks up its quantity that they have a shot at getting some attention in the same way has. -ram

My favorite:
So you wanna build a compost pile
Because no home is complete without a festering pile of stench!

Rob -- You know I have a compost pile, right? :) It actually doesn't smell at all, but it's tough to keep small animals away.

We have a compost pile here too, actually its more of a compost wooded area. My mom goes a little over board and throws all sorts of food debris out there. It gets on my nerves after a while.

Yes, Ryan, I remember you mentioning something about your compost pile at some point. Some time, I'll have to come over and hide in it and then surprise you.

Maybe it'll start talking to you, like the Trash Heap does on Fraggle Rock. You can have your own Great Compost Heap that you go to for wisdom and advice.

I like the one about being an Indie Rock poser. It's damned near dead-on.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
