iPod is Now Officially a Household Word

… because holdhold words are the only things that show up in vending machines. Kids that used to ask for 50 cents to buy a pack of gum will now ask for $100 to buy an iPod shuffle. “Please, mom! I’m really in need of music at this moment!”

Which brings up the question: this vending machine is in the Atlanta airport… what good does it do to buy one when you’re about to get on a flight and can’t fill it with music? Yes, I realize that people with laptops could do it while sitting in the boarding area, but those are the people most likely to already have an MP3 player, right?
