Everyone’s got a favorite band or artist. For a lot of Pingers, it’s No Doubt or Gwen Stefani of course. But even diehard fans have to admit that no band is perfect and everyone puts out a stinker. At least once.
For my longtime favorite band R.E.M., the “least best” album title goes to Around the Sun. It’s off to dreamland with this snoozefest that never gains speed and settles for laziness. It’s too bad really. Around the Sun stands as the sole R.E.M. album I don’t own because it’s just not that good. Yuck.
