Blogdex

What’s everybody talking about? What’s the easiest way to find the hot topic of the day without surfing all of the popular blogs?

Blogdex, of course.

Blogdex indexes over 13,000 sites and tallies up the most common links each day. For instance, today’s number one story is Google upgrades the Web, a mention of Google’s daily indexing of weblogs. Clearly, Bloggers are a self-centered bunch. That kind of cheesy fake moon landing page is also quite popular as of late, showing that Blogdex might be a good meme-predictor, an indicator of what your Aunt Sally will be forwarding you three months from now.

There’s a lot of good potential here, and I’d like to see where it goes from here. -ram

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
